The d-pad feels just like the original NES controller, which is exactly what I wanted for retro sessions. Took a few days to get used to the slightly stiffer buttons, but they're responsive enough that I don't miss a single jump in Mega Man.

The d-pad works fine for platformers, and the build feels solid enough for the price. But the buttons are a bit stiff out of the box, which took some getting used to on my NES. It gets the job done, though I expected a little more from a "premium" feel.
