The included Squire controller feels spot-on for a Genesis pad, and booting up an old cart at 720p is a blast. I’ve had zero issues with cartridge reading, and it’s been a solid little machine for weekend gaming sessions.

The picture is so much sharper than I remember from my old CRT setup, and my original carts slide in and work flawlessly. The included pad feels just like the one I had as a kid, which made booting up Sonic for the first time genuinely emotional.
